This intricate floral explosion was inspired by one of Sofia’s very favourite paintings - Vincent Van Gogh's “Sunflowers”. The rich colours in this work evoke feelings of adoration and positivity, giving this design its name.
Taking inspiration from the vibrant colours in Van Gogh's work, Sofia’s design mixes in a number of other floral motifs for a beautiful and eye-catching design.
The Adoration design has over one hundred and thirty thousand stitches, taking a little over two and a half hours to embroider. Once the embroidery is complete, beads are carefully hand sewn onto each flower, which gives the impression that the flowers are glistening as the jacket moves.
