Sofia’s travels in Hawaii influenced this bright Tropical Leaf design, which takes inspiration from the breathtaking multi-coloured eucalyptus trees located in Maui. Eucalyptus trees can grow to extraordinary heights reaching up to 91m tall, carrying the green, pink and red tones of their bark high up into the bright blue sky.
The Tropical Leaves design has over one hundred and ten thousand individual stitches and takes a little over two hours to embroider. The design is then hand-finished with small coloured beads sewn onto each individual leaf.
