With more time to appreciate her surroundings and the change in the seasons, it became apparent to Sofia how insignificant we all are in comparison to mother nature. This floral design’s deep reds, rich oranges and bright greens are inspired by nature’s ever-changing colour palette.
The Midnight Roses design has over one hundred and thirty thousand individual stitches taking a little over three hours to embroider. Once the embroidery is complete, pink, orange, and yellow beads are hand-stitched onto the flowers, highlighting the shadows in the floral design.
